Streamers are like little fish imitations. They're bigger and heavier than dry flies or nymphs, and they're designed to look like small fish, leeches, or even crayfish that bigger fish like to eat. You don't just cast them and let them sit. You have to move them around – strip your line in or swing them back and forth – to make them look like they're swimming and trying to escape. This movement is what attracts the bigger fish to strike.
