High-elevation lakes are a great option this time of year where fish are less prone to these warmer days. Fishing on the Truckee will be best at first light until 9-10 depending on water temps.

The Truckee is in great shape as water temps are topping out in the mid to low 60’s making for great fishing all day. However, mornings and evenings remain your best bet for consistent action.
